Why did the agent forget what I told it last week?

Ask explicitly to "remember: …" when something should be available in future chats. Check the Facts tab in Memory to see what was saved.

How can I see and edit what the agent remembered?

The Facts tab in Memory shows saved facts, their dates and status. You can add, correct or forget a fact. Documents are in a separate tab.

Agent memory

Memory is what the agent knows about you and your business between chats. It lives under Memory.

The agent can retain useful facts from conversations. Ask explicitly to "remember" something when you want it saved, and check the Facts tab to verify the result.

How to store a rule

Say it plainly in the chat:

Remember: the marketplace commission is 14% below 100, 20% below 300, 42% above.

Remember: we do not do warranty exchanges or refunds.

Remember: always check for duplicates before adding a contact and warn me if you find one.

The agent saves facts individually and uses current facts in future conversations. Personal memory is available in private conversations; it is not shared with group rooms.

What is worth storing

your legal entities, shops, warehouses and accounts;
discount, commission and markup rules;
what your reports are called and what goes into them;
the tone of client communication and the email signature;
what must never be done.

The sign a rule belongs in memory

You are explaining the same thing a second time. If a rule had to be repeated in a new chat, its place is memory, not the conversation.

Checking and correcting

Open Memory → Facts to see each fact’s type, status and dates. Correct creates a replacement and keeps the earlier version in history. Mark uncertain removes a fact from current memory without declaring it false. The view selector includes uncertain facts and history when you ask for them.

Forget removes the fact from memory and its search results. Earlier messages and chat summaries may still contain it. You can also ask the agent to correct or forget a fact in conversation.

The saved date tells you when the agent learned a fact; the event date tells you when it happened. Events can have an expiry date. Old facts are not automatically treated as false merely because time has passed.

Documents holds files and reusable procedures separately. Editing a document does not directly edit a saved fact. Memory included at the start of a conversation may be a snapshot; ask the agent to read memory again when a recent correction matters.

What never reaches memory

In incognito mode nothing is stored — neither chat history nor memory. It is meant for a one-off sensitive question, not for accumulating working rules.
