Integration scenarios

Going through the queues

The agent collects issues from your queues and shows what is overdue, what has no assignee and who is carrying the most.

An issue straight from the conversation

The agent files an issue in the right queue with a description, assignee, priority and due date, right out of the chat discussion.

Sprint summary

On a schedule the agent sends the sprint results: what closed, what rolls over and where issues are stuck without movement.

Statuses, comments and time

The agent moves an issue through statuses, adds a comment, updates the checklist and logs spent time to the worklog.

How to connect

1

Sign in to Tracker with your work Yandex ID

Open tracker.yandex.ru under the account whose issues you need: API calls run on behalf of that user and within their rights. A personal Yandex ID that is not a member of the organization sees no queues.

2

Make sure the account is not read-only

Without an active Tracker subscription an employee defaults to the read-only role: viewing issues works, creating and editing does not. Writing needs the full-access or administrator role.

3

Grant the account access to the queues you need

In Queues open a queue, click the settings icon and go to the Access tab: grant issue viewing, plus issue editing if changes are needed. Only the queue owner or a Tracker administrator can set this.

4

Check which organization the account belongs to

Tracker always works in the context of an organization: Administration → Organizations shows which one the account belongs to. If it belongs to several, check that the queues you need live in that same organization.

What the agent does in the first 10 minutes

  • Will pull issues from your queues and show what is overdue and who it sits on.
  • Will create an issue in the right queue with an assignee and a deadline straight from the chat.
  • Will send a sprint digest on schedule: what is closed and what is rolling over.

FAQ

How do I connect Yandex Tracker?

With a Yandex ID confirmation code: click Connect, enter the code on the Yandex page and confirm access with your work account. API requests run on behalf of that user and within their permissions in the organization.

What does the agent see in Tracker?

Queues, issues, comments, checklists, links, sprints, boards and projects — exactly the ones open to the connected user in the queue's access settings.

Can the agent create issues?

Yes, if the user has Full access or Administrator. The Read-only role, which is the default without a Tracker subscription, allows viewing issues and nothing more.

Why does the agent not see the queue I need?

Either the queue is not open to the user in its access settings, or it belongs to another organization: the organizations an account belongs to are listed under Administration, Organizations.
