What is a zero-click purchase

A zero-click purchase is an order placed by voice or in chat, without ever opening the product listing. The buyer tells the assistant "order the same as last time" or "add laundry detergent," and the order goes through while the person never opens the listing at all. They don't see you — only the AI does.

For a seller on Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex Market, or Megamarket, this flips the usual logic: if no one opens the listing, it isn't the design that wins — it's the data inside it.

How it works

In a normal purchase the person scrolls the results, looks at photos, reads the description — and all your visual levers do their job. In a zero-click purchase that stage is gone: the assistant matches the query to the product by attributes, price, reviews, and rating, and places the order itself.

That means everything that convinced by sight — the first photo, infographics, nicely written text — plays no part at that moment. Only machine-readable fields do. Empty characteristics = you're invisible to zero-click.

Example for a seller

Once a month a buyer asks Alice to "order cat food, the same one." If your product was chosen once and has honest, complete data, you land in those repeat orders automatically. If the data is weak, on the next request the assistant will easily swap you for a competitor with a fuller listing.
