Book Yandex Delivery couriers from chat: quote, order, track

The agent works with the Yandex Delivery API using a token from the dostavka.yandex.ru account. Express delivery runs on claims: the agent calculates delivery options from the point coordinates, weight and dimensions, creates a claim, reads its estimate and follows it through the statuses to handover. For next-day delivery it searches pickup points, calculates cost and intervals and reads the orders of the logistics platform.

Creating a claim at Yandex is not yet calling a courier. The service first estimates the claim and names a price that holds for about ten minutes, and only the confirmation starts the courier search and the charge. So the agent creates the claim, waits for it to become ready for approval and shows you the whole picture: from where, to where, tariff, price and timing. It confirms only after your explicit yes, and if the price has expired it recalculates and asks again.

Cancelling also starts with a question to the service: before the courier arrives it is free, after arrival it is paid, and after handover it is only possible through support. You see the cancellation terms before the agent acts on them. Every new claim gets its own idempotency key, repeated only after a server failure, so that one order never brings two couriers.

The agent sends point coordinates as longitude then latitude, dimensions in metres, weight in kilograms and phones in the +7 format, or the claim will not pass the estimate. The request rate stays within five per second.
