Adesk accounting in chat: cash flow, profit by project and debts
Connect Adesk to the AI agent: operations, cash flow, P&L, projects and commitments. The agent rolls up cash by category, profit by project and debts.
How the agent works with Adesk
The work starts from the account's reference data: legal entities, bank accounts, operation categories, projects and counterparties. From them the agent learns how your accounting is set up, then reads operations for the period you need, filtered by account, category, project or counterparty, rather than pulling everything.
Adesk returns lists in parts, so a long period is read page by page to the end, and the agent says so if it stopped early. Actual and planned operations are counted apart, and the payment date is kept apart from the accrual date: the cash flow report and the profit report are built on different dates.
The agent can write everything the API opens: operations, transfers, commitments, projects, counterparties, budgets and custom lines of the profit and loss report. Every write and every deletion happens only after you confirm, and a deletion in Adesk cannot be undone.
If the key is rejected or the subscription has ended, the agent says so instead of showing an empty table. It does not retry a wrong key: after several attempts in a row Adesk temporarily locks API sign-in, so the key is best copied again from the profile.
Integration scenarios
Monthly cash flow by category
The agent collects money in and out for a period by category and account and shows where the money went and where it came from.
Profit by project and deal
The agent reads project figures and compares revenue, costs and margin, so you can see which deals lose money.
Receivables and payables
The agent rolls up commitments by counterparty: who owes you, whom you owe and what is overdue.
Planned payments for the week
The agent shows planned operations from the payment calendar for the coming days next to account balances, so you do not run short of cash.
Assign operations to categories
The agent finds operations without a category and suggests a category and a project for each, writing them only after you confirm.
Budget against actuals
The agent compares a budget with the month's actual operations and names the categories where spending went over plan.
