## How the agent works with СКАН Интерфакс

The agent works with SCAN through the Interfax gateway: it finds company cards by INN, collects publications about them for a period, builds histograms by month and source, breaks the material down by topic, person and sentiment and takes the integral risk rating along with criminal cases, lawsuits, debts and corporate actions. Separately it reads the events of the monitoring filters set up in the workspace.

A company in SCAN is identified by INN rather than by name, and that changes the quality of the selection: the agent first gets the card by INN and only then pulls publications onto it, so namesakes and brand lookalikes never reach the report. The monitoring filters themselves live in the workspace and are configured there — the agent does not rewrite them, it reads what they have already selected and brings the new critical mentions into the chat.

The agent never writes here: it searches companies and publications and assembles risk reports without touching monitorings, filters or account settings. It presents the risk rating as a signal from the information field, not as a legal conclusion: the source publications and dates stay next to every factor, so the decision is made on the primary source rather than on a single number.

The agent obtains and refreshes the bearer token itself, keeps the request rate within bounds and collects long result sets page by page rather than in one call. The size of a selection is capped by the contract plan, and once the balance is spent search stops returning data — the agent names that reason instead of passing an empty report off as an absence of mentions. Archive depth and the set of sources are set by the contract too, so the agent states the period a selection covers.

### Get the login and password from Interfax
Interfax provisions an account for the integration and hands over the login and password. You cannot create it in the web.scan-interfax.ru workspace yourself.

### Ask the manager about the tariff limits
Ask the manager whether the plan is unlimited or metered in search terms, and what the cap on monitored companies is. An empty balance stops search.

### Verify the pair in the public SCAN Swagger
Open https://gateway.scan-interfax.ru/index.html and call POST /api/v1/account/login: accessToken in the response means access is live, a 401 means it is not.

### How do I connect SCAN Interfax?
With the login and password of an API account: Interfax creates it on request through the form on scan-interfax.ru or by e-mail to the sales team. Such an account cannot be created in the web workspace, and the agent obtains the bearer token from that pair itself.

### What does the agent see in SCAN?
Company cards by INN, publications about them for a period, monthly histograms, analytics by topic, person and sentiment, the integral risk rating and events from monitoring filters.

### Does the agent write to SCAN?
No. Access is read-only: the agent searches companies and publications and assembles risk reports without changing monitorings, filters or account settings.

### Are there limits on volume?
Yes, and they depend on the contract: a plan is counted in search terms or can be unlimited, with a separate cap on the number of companies under monitoring. Once the balance is spent, search stops returning data.
