### Morning inbox triage
The agent goes through unread messages and shows which ones are waiting for a reply — with subject, sender and date, without opening the mailbox.

### Invoices and acts out of attachments
The agent finds a message by sender or subject, pulls out the attachment — an invoice, an act or a contract — and reads what is inside.

### Replying and forwarding
The agent writes a reply in the right thread, forwards a message to a colleague or sends a new email from your mailbox over SMTP.

### Tidying up the folders
The agent sorts messages into folders, marks the handled ones as read and deletes what clearly does not need keeping.

## How to connect

### Link a phone number to the mailbox
Mail issues app passwords only to mailboxes with a confirmed phone. Check «Настройки» → «Все настройки» → «Контакты и адреса» (Settings → All settings → Contacts and addresses) and add a number if there is none.

### Turn on IMAP and SMTP access
Under «Безопасность» → «Внешние сервисы» (Security → External services) the «Доступ к почте по IMAP, POP и SMTP» toggle must be on. While it is off, the mailbox rejects password logins.

### Create a password for external applications
In the same «Безопасность» section open «Пароли для внешних приложений» (Passwords for external applications), click «Создать» (Create), give the password a recognisable name and click «Продолжить» (Continue).

### Pick full mail access and copy the password
Pick the protocol type «Полный доступ к Почте» (Full access to Mail); «Только отправка писем в Почте» (send only) cannot read folders or messages. The password is shown once and stored nowhere — copy it along with the full mailbox address.

## FAQ

### How do I connect Mail.ru Mail?
With the mailbox address and an app password. In Settings, then Security, turn on IMAP and SMTP access, create a password of the Full mailbox access type and copy it straight away — it is shown only once.

### What does the agent see in the mailbox?
The folder list, messages with subject, sender and date, message bodies and attachments — all over IMAP, limited to the mailbox whose app password is connected.

### Does the agent write to the mailbox?
It can: send an email, reply in a thread, forward a message, move a message to another folder, mark it as read or delete it.

### What should I do if sign-in fails?
Check that a phone number is linked to the mailbox and that access over IMAP, POP and SMTP is switched on. A password of the send-only type does not give access to folders.
